RSS LRFD
To use the Limit State or LRFD method to design a reinforced slope, Click RSS LRFD in the Limit State/LRFD menu. The limit state/LRFD dialog box will appear. In the limit state/LRFD box, the user can turn this feature on or off by choosing the on/off radio buttons. The default values are listed in the dialog box for each factor based on the British Standard 2000. However, the user should have full knowledge of each factor and assign a proper value for use. If the limit state design/LRFD method is used, the soil resistance calculated with a circular failure method or a translational method will be reduced by being divided 1.25 or 1.15, respectively.
