MSE Wall Analysis

To perform an MSE wall analysis, use the following steps.
1. Draw the profile including reinforced soil (if exists), retained soil, foundation soil, reinforcement (if exists), and wall facing.
2. Setup material properties for soil, reinforcement, wall facing and connection data.
3. Assign the material properties to the profile.
4. If a seismic or LRFD analysis is required, set the seismic condition from the seismic menu or LRFD menu.
5. In the Analysis menu choose either reinforced wall or unreinforced wall. The MES wall page will show. If there are more than one walls, click the wall to be analyzed. In the line edit page choose either reinforced wall or unreinforced wall.
6. In the MSE page, choose either NCMA method or AASHTO method. Clock the Analysis button on the MSE page, the results will show.
7. To print the report, click the report button.
