Grid Array
Visual Slope is able to perform a stability analysis for geogrid reinforced slope or retaining wall. The grid array method is an easier way to generate many same type and same length geogrid layers at one time. To use Grid Array method, the user must setup the geogrid properties first using the material setup dialog box. After material setup, the user can click Grid Array button on the toolbar. The grid array dialog box will appear. The user must select the geogrid type from the pull down list, and then provide the start elevation, end elevation, vertical spacing and geogrid length to the corresponding data boxes. Once the user click the Close button, geogrid layers will appear on the profile.
The user can use Grid Array method repeatedly to generate different types or different lengths of geogrid layers.
The maximum layers of geogrid should not exceed 100.
