Soil Properties
The common soil properties consist of six parameters - the name of the soil, moist unit weight, saturated unit weight, cohesion, friction angle and piezometric surface number (if the soil is under a specified piezometric surface).
For advanced properties, click the advanced button. The advanced properties include pressure constant (to define a porepressure constant), water head (to define water head), preconsolidation pressure, coefficient of compression and coefficient of rebound. The last three parameters are used for settlement estimate in an MSE wall analysis.
