MSE Soil Properties
Soils in both reinforced zone and retained zone will be considered as cohesionless soils, i.e. C=0. In other areas, soil properties should be entered as they are. If water tables exist, the phretic column should be filled accordingly. For example, if the soil is associated with water table 1, the value in phretic column should be 1.
For a settlement analysis, the user should provide preconsolidation pressure Pc, coefficient of compression Cc/(1+e), and coefficient of rebound Cr/(1+e). Click the Advanced button to show the input columns.
Excess porepressure and water head can also be entered if they exist. Click the Advanced button to show those columns.
